We welcome James Pullen (from Imperial College London), a new PhD student in the Pliotas group. James will investigate G-Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs) dynamics and their drug binding inhibition by PELDOR/DEER spectroscopy, molecular modelling and cryo-EM. James is funded by a MRC-DTP CASE studentship in collaboration with Z7 Biotech, an industrial partner who specialises in human GPCR molecular biology and expression. All members of the Pliotas group wish James the very best of success in his new, challenging and exciting scientific adventure.
