We welcome Ruoning Pei (from the University of Oxford), a new PhD student in the Pliotas group. Ruoning will investigate mechanosensitive ion channel dynamics, assembly and clustering by multi-scale molecular dynamics simulations and single channel electrophysiology. Ruoning is funded by a Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) and University of Manchester PhD studentship. All members of the Pliotas group wish Ruoning the very best of success in her new, challenging and exciting scientific adventure.
